We are nationwide corporation based in South San Francisco California, and as an importer we represent of some of Europe’s finest lagers, ales, ciders and spirits.

SHW was founded by Andreas Hildebrandt, who’s father began importing Munich’s Spaten beer into the western United States in the early 1960’s.

Under Andreas’ leadership the Spaten/Franziskaner brand reached 200,000HL nationally (in conjunction with East Coast Partner Spaten North America).

After Anheuser Busch Inbev took back the importation rights of the Spaten brands; we formed S&H Independent Premium Brands; now dba SHW Brands.

 

With our team of experienced and passionate individuals we have assembled a portfolio that represents some of the most award winning European breweries and distilleries.
